Shindzela Tented Safari Camp accommodation takes the form of twin or double beds in a comfortable safari canvas tent with an en-suite bathroom. Each tent has a wooden door and windows take the form of adjustable canvas flaps. Mesh netting is put in place to reduce the presence of unwanted insects. The thatched roof adds to an authentic African feel while the porch allows you to enjoy the sights and sounds of your surroundings.
Shindzela Tented Safari Camp, that is minimally decorated, blends in with the natural environment, making you feel at one with Africa. The main tent area has a bar, dining room and a lounge area where guests can relax in each other’s company. A swimming pool adds a splash of refreshment while the fireplace comforts guests during the colder winter nights.
Children older than 12 are welcomed at Shindzela, and children aged 10 and 11 will be considered. Children over 10 may join their parents on the game drives; however, children under the age of 16 will not be able to embark on the walking safaris. If you book exclusive use of the camp, children over the age of 4 can be accommodated.
You will be served home-cooked South African meals during your stay at Shindzela Tented Safari Camp. These tasty dishes will be rich in vegetables and salads, ensuring a healthy stay.
