Day 1: Step back into a Bygone Era
Depart from Johannesburg for your flight to Hoedspruit Airport. You will be met and taken on a short road transfer to a safari lodge in a Big Five private game reserve that shares unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park.
Your luxury Kruger safari will revolve around exciting game viewing activities, fine dining and soaking up the unhurried and timeless atmosphere. Nestled under a canopy of Mopane and Tamboti trees, the thatched cottages exude safari elegance of a bygone era. Watch passing by free-roaming wildlife from your private veranda.
Unpack and relax in your luxury suite or take a dip in the sparkling lodge pool before embarking on your first afternoon safari that will continue after nightfall, giving you insight into the nocturnal bush.
Day 2 - 3: Search for the Big Five
Spend the next two days in search of wildlife on morning and afternoon safaris in open 4x4 safari vehicles. Wake up at dawn and enjoy a hot coffee and 'rusk'. Bundle up under a blanket for your morning game drive.
Enjoy brunch and afternoon tea on the deck and watch passing by wildlife. Sip on cocktails and enjoy a quiet African sunset. Go in search of nocturnal wildlife with the aid of a spotlight on an evening game drive.
Savour African inspired meals in a lantern-lit setting. Recall it all around a crackling fire under a blanket of sparkling stars. Hear the hyenas crying out at night and fish eagles calling in the morning.
Day 4: Farewell
After a final morning game drive and breakfast, you depart for Hoedspruit to catch your flight back to Johannesburg. We are sure this won't be your last African safari and those memories made will one day lead you back to Africa.
