Day 1: Travel to Kruger
Depart from Johannesburg Airport on a flight to Hoedspruit. You will be met at the airport and driven to, Motswari Game Lodge, a classic safari lodge in the Timbavati Game Reserve. Settle into your en-suite accommodation, which is home for the next two nights and three days.
Those on a romantic getaway will love the cascading nets over the beds and the corner spa bath. Your outdoor shower with a view offers a unique experience under open skies. Timbavati is a private reserve, so you will enjoy activities that are not allowed in the Kruger National Park: off-road excursions for premium game viewing, spot-lit night game drives and guided bush walks.
Day 2: In Search of the Big 5
This classic lodge allows you to make the most of your game viewing through extended morning and afternoon game drives in search of the region's wildlife including lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino. Spot the smaller critters of the bush while on a guided bush led by one of the experienced trail guides.
A highlight is a chance of spotting the legendary and extremely rare Timbavati white lions. Traditional South African cuisine is offered and meals can be taken on damask linen out on the raised teak deck, or under the star-studded sky in the boma at night.
Day 3: Farewell Kruger
This morning you will enjoy a final breakfast and perhaps a last game drive before you transfer to the airport and catch your flight back to Johannesburg or Cape Town.
