Bateleur Safari Camp caters to a range of travellers, from groups of friends, to couples and solo travellers. The team makes a strong effort in keeping a low impact on the surrounding environment and since the property remains unfenced, you’ll often see nyalas, warthogs, bushbuck, elephants, buffalos and rhinos casually meandering through camp. Varying in size, each unit at Bateleur Safari Camp in Timbavati Game Reserve features a stand-out thatched A-frame roof, canvas sides, and massive windows welcoming in more than enough light and air.
Inside you’ll discover a spacious en-suite bathroom, and main bedroom complete with king-sized beds, plush linens, mosquito nets, screens, bedside tables, lamps, adequate storage facilities, and a solar-powered fan. Each sleeps between two to four people very comfortably, with a dedicated four-person family unit available too.
There are also plug points for charging power banks and batteries. The entrance of each unit opens out onto covered patios, and if you’re looking to splurge a little, some units also come with bathtubs and private outdoor showers.
