The 3,500ha area surrounding around RockFig is shared with just one other lodge, so there are fewer safari groups to be found here, and it is incredibly easy to get to.
For the most direct route, we typically organise chartered flights straight to the lodge’s airstrip (just five minutes away). There are also daily scheduled flights between Johannesburg and/or Cape Town and Hoedspruit Airport, from where we can organise a road transfer to the lodge.
You can also make your way to RockFig on your own steam via self-drive. Many make the journey from Johannesburg which takes roughly 6 hours and is a great way to get a feel for South Africa’s landscape in and around the Kruger National Park.
