Umlani's cultural accommodation in Timbavati Game Reserve is in comfortable reed and thatch huts with either en-suite or separate facilities.
Umlani Bushcamp in the Timbavati, accommodates guests in comfortable, traditional style Shangaan reed huts, each has well appointed en suite facilities, with open showers so that guests can shower under a blanket of stars. The camp sleeps a maximum of 16 guests in shared accommodation.
At the lodge there is a splash pool for cooling down on hot bushveld days. The central dining and bar facility, as well as the adjoining boma are full of inviting spots for you to relax and socialise after an exciting day in the bush.
This historic lodge offers an authentic safari experience and does not have electricity, so light is provided by paraffin lamps, but hot water is available in the reed-walled showers, all adding to the true bush experience.
