Activities at Ngala Safari Lodge
At the lodge, it is possible to fill every minute of your African safari with a range of exciting activities including scenic helicopter flights, stunning bird-watching opportunities, swimming in sparkling pools, moonlit bush dinners and spectacular bush sundowners.
The shaded swimming pool and sundeck overlook a busy waterhole near the Mopane woodlands, the perfect spot for an afternoon dip. The pool is a good size and is surrounded by sun loungers, where guests can relax and wait to see what animals come down to the waterhole.
The curio shop and gallery are filled with African treasures. The shop has a good range of African artifacts, paintings, and safari clothing, as well as some necessities like toiletries, film, postcards, stamps, sunblock and hats. If you would like any of your treasures to be shipped, feel free to ask and this can easily be arranged.
Bush dinners or boma dinners are slightly more traditional than the more formal courtyard dinners. Dine on delicious food including squash soup, smoked salmon crostini, steak with mushrooms and turkey with herb crust.
This lifestyle safari lodge offers unique activities for children such as tracking and pooh expeditions. Upon arrival you child will recieve a goody bag containing a logbook, crayons, pencils and pawprint tattoos to complete the programme.
